Online soccer predictions that win for Udinese – Juventus
Udinese hosts Juventus at the Dacia Arena in a game from the first round of the Serie A 2021/22 season. Let us take a look at this fixture in Udine in our online soccer predictions that win.
Udinese hope for a better performance in the league compared to last season when they finished 14th in the league. Surviving was the most important thing of course, but the team’s fans hope for something more significant in the upcoming campaign. Le Zebrette remain managed by Luca Gotti who is managing Udinese since 2019. Let’s see what the club did on the summer transfer marker so far.
Udinese made just three deals on the market so far. The club paid 2.50 million euro to Hellas Verona’s goalkeeper Marco Silvestri while another goalkeeper was signed on a free transfer – Inter Milan’s Daniele Padelli. At the same time Le Zebrette got Hellas Verona’s Destiny Udogie on a loan deal until the end of the season. He’s just 18-years old left back who could turn out to be an investment for the future. Udogie will have the chance to impress the club’s board and eventually sign a long-term contract.
There’s one player who Udinese will miss a lot next season. This is the Argentine midfielder Rodrigo de Paul who just won Copa America with his country. The 27-years old star was sold to Atletico Madrid for 35 million euro. It was a logical next step for De Paul, but surely this deal will leave a huge hole in Udinese’s midfield.
Another important player left Udinese for good this summer. This the goalkeeper Juan Musso who was sold to Atalanta for 20 million euro. The Czech attacking midfielder Antonin Barak also left the Dacia Arena and he will continue his career in Hellas Verona.
As you see Udinese didn’t do nothing spectacular on the transfer market so far. They got a lot of money from selling Rodrigo de Paul and Juan Musso, but it’s not entirely clear if they are going to use even part of these funds for new players. This is a difficult financial situation for all Italian clubs, so don’t be surprised if Udinese keep these money for their own survival.
Udinese already played their first friendly game for the summer. Le Zebrette faced the Slovenian side Bilje and achieved a 4-1 win. It was a decent way for Udinese to start their preparation for the new season.
Juventus start the new season with only one goal in mind – to get back on top in the Serie A. The Old Lady lost the gold medals to Inter Milan last season, but now they are motivated to take what is theirs.
A new era begins at Juventus, but with a face the fans know very well – Massimiliano Allegri. The coach who won five Serie A titles with the club returns to the managerial role again. Allegri will replace Andrea Pirlo who didn’t do much in his debut season and got sacked for this. The goal in front of the new coach is pretty clear – get Juventus back on the top and do as much as possible in Europe.
So far Juventus are quiet on the transfer market. The only deal they did is buying the American international Weston McKennie from Schalke 04. The midfielder did really well with Juve’s shirt last season, so now the club decided to turn his loan deal into a permanent one. Weston McKennie is just 22-years old and he looks like a great investment for the future. The Italians paid 20.50 million euro to Schalke 04 for his rights.
At the same time Juventus said goodbye to two massive legends – Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini. Buffon already returned to his former club Parma while Chiellini is rumoured to have negotiations with Real Madrid. Now the club has two goals which has to be achieved – signing another backup goalkeeper to support Wojciech Szczęsny and another reliable centre-back to fill Chiellini’s boots. The second part looks really difficult.
The good news for Juventus is the situation around Cristiano Ronaldo. There were some rumours that Cristiano could leave Italy for another league this summer, but now it seems that he will remain at the Allianz Stadium for at least another season. During the 2020/21 campaign the Portuguese icon scored 36 goals in all competition and showed how lethal he could be – even at this age.
Juventus’ fans now hope that some pleasant surprises will come from the summer transfer market. It’s rumoured that the Bianconeri could get from Barcelona their former asset Miralem Pjanic. Another rumour is linking Juventus with the Euro 2020 hero Manuel Locatelli who currently plays for Sassuolo. The 23-years old midfielder made a solid impression during the European Championship, but he’s also wanted by some other clubs.
What excites Juventus’ fans the most are the rumours regarding the French super star Antoine Griezmann. It’s not a secret that Barcelona want to sell the striker because of his high wages. It’s believed that Juventus are one of the clubs who could accept his demands and add him to their squads. Some people might say that Antoine Griezmann didn’t shine as it was expected with Barca’s shirt, but obviously he remains a player from the highest calibre.
You can be sure that Juventus will make some moves on the transfer market. They still have a lot of time to do so. The club have enough funds to reinforce the squad, so the deals will come. Let’s see which players will put the Bianconeri shirt, though.
That’s our online soccer predictions that win for the Serie A game between Udinese and Juventus at the Dacia Arena. The visitors will start the season with the ambition to win the title again, so their goal here can be just one – getting all of the three points. At the same time Udinese will try to show some teeth at their home ground, but let’s see if they can really offer any trouble to a team like Juve.
